What's inside the TV?

Inside Sky Glass boasts and amazing sound system worthy of any gamer or movie lover!

This is what Sky say: Six powerful speakers. Epic subwoofer. All built-in for spine-tingling 360° Dolby Atmos® sound. Concert. Cinema. Stadium. Sky Glass puts you there.

Quantum Dot technology brings a quantum leap in picture quality. With next level contrast and Ultra HD. Sky Glass is a billion colours better.

Sky Glass is available in different colours as well:

  • Ceramic white
  • Dusky pink
  • Ocean blue
  • Racing green
  • Anthracite black

If you're after a multiroom Sky Glass experience, you can add the Whole Home package for £10 per month, plus a piece of hardware called the Sky Stream Puck (just like mutiroom hub) which costs £50 per unit.

The Stream Puck is actually a square shape and connects directly to the SKY cloud network, as What Hi-Fi notes. Up to six of the pucks can be connected.

What about my fave movies and tv shows? Can I record them?

The short answer is no, there is no HDD function inside the Sky Glass BUT just like Spotify and Netflix you can create playlists which are streamed straight from Sky.

Who can get one?

Right now on the Sky Glass website orders are being taken for Diamond & Platinum tier customers who’ve been with Sky for over 8 years, however this is set to change in the upcoming weeks.
